The MSC Opera has commenced its summer season in Europe and is set to reposition to the Southern Caribbean in November 2026, becoming MSC's first year-round ship in the region. Currently, it is offering 10-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean, with embarkation points in Genoa, Alicante, Málaga, Lisbon, and Marseille, and stops in Olbia, Minorca, and Cádiz. In early November, the ship will begin a trans-Atlantic journey to La Romana, with future itineraries including seven-night cruises to the French Antilles, British Virgin Islands, and more. Starting in early 2027, it will also visit the ABC Islands and Grenada. The MSC
Opera, part of the Lirica class, underwent significant refurbishment in 2015 and previously operated in South Africa during the winter season.
